Last Updated: 5 October 2026
1. Introduction
Focusia ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website (focusia.co.uk) and our services, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. Who We Are
Focusia is operated by Support We Need. Our contact email for data protection inquiries is joel@supportweneed.com.
3. The Data We Collect About You
We may collect, use, store, and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:
- Identity Data: includes your full name.
- Contact Data: includes your email address and phone number.
- Assessment Data: includes your responses to our ADHD assessment, such as your ADHD stage, challenges, goals, and current support.
- Transaction Data: includes details about payments to and from you. Please note that we do not store your full card details; this is handled by our payment processor, Stripe.
- Enquiry and marketing data: includes the coaching plan you select, your acknowledgement of the displayed price, contact permission and recognised campaign labels from the visit in which you enquire. We use these records internally to understand which enquiries become clients. We do not capture ad click identifiers in this enquiry report.
- Usage Data: includes information about how you use our website and services.
4. How We Use Your Personal Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- To provide you with our ADHD coaching services.
- To process your payment for our services.
- To manage our relationship with you, including notifying you about changes to our terms or privacy policy.
- To administer and protect our business and this website (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, and system maintenance).
- To measure enquiries and confirmed client outcomes internally. Campaign attribution uses recognised labels held in memory for the current page session; it does not use a tracking cookie. We do not send these enquiry records or health answers to advertising platforms.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
Our legal basis for processing your personal data is typically one of the following:
- Consent: Where you have given us clear consent to process your personal data for a specific purpose (e.g., by completing our assessment).
- Contract: Where processing is necessary for a contract we have with you, or because you have asked us to take specific steps before entering into a contract.
- Legitimate Interests: Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We will not sell your personal data. We may share your data with trusted third parties to provide our services, including:
- Stripe: Our payment processor to handle transactions securely.
- Base44: Hosts our website and stores the information you submit so authorised administrators can respond and manage your enquiry.
- Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors, and insurers.
We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.
Google Analytics, Google Ads tags, Microsoft Clarity session recording and the OpenAI advertising pixel are not enabled by this website. Essential hosting and account services may still process technical information needed to operate securely.
7. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal data to those employees and third parties who have a business need to know.
8. Your Legal Rights
Under UK data protection law, you have rights including:
- Right of access: You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Right to rectification: You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate.
- Right to erasure: You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
- Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
- Right to object to processing: You have the right to object to processing if we are processing your information for our legitimate interests.
- Right to data portability: You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
